This station is located in Highland Park, a centrally located neighbourhood within the north half of the City of Calgary. The station is in an urban industrial area northwest of Fox Hollow Golf Course. This primary industrial park is made of low-rise mixed use buildings on flat terrain. Nose Creek runs by the station and there is a holding pond nearby contributing to a local, relatively moist environment. The station sensors are mounted on a mast at a height of 27ft above ground. Below is an open space of gravel and concrete slab with a northern exposure. The mast is positioned beyond the edge and 5ft above a flat asphalt roof.
